The morning began with Rachel's report on Nirou Chani and the problem of the "Minoan Villa."
We were treated to lunch at Kavousi before heading up to the site of Azoria. We rode up the mountain in the backs of pickup trucks to the site.
It started to rain on the way up and while we were there it started to hail lightly. Because of the rain, I didn't take many pictures.

On the way back down the mountain, we stopped to have a look at the giant ancient olive tree.
Our last stop was thankfully indoors at the INSTAP (Institute for Aegean Prehistory) Center where we got to see where people are working with potsherds from sites, we went into the storage room with cool bronze finds and bones, and a guy who works on archaeological drawings and maps showed us how he has been integrating computer technology with his hand-drawn work.
