Our day began at Lerna with Mike's report. The site was occupied from the early Neolithic (6th Millennium BCE) until the Late Helladic Mycenean period (13th century BCE). That's something like 5,000 years of continuous habitation!
from which, we got a great view of Argos.
After Lerna, we headed to Argos.
Andrew gave his report on the Great Bath at Argos (which is also known as the Theater Bath, the Roman Bath, and, my favorite, the Building).
We also explored the theater and some ruins across the street before heading into the museum.
In the museum, Simon gave his report on some very important bronze tablets found in Argos which have yet to be fully published and are not on display. There were some pretty neat items which were, however.
While still in Argos, we visited the Argos castle
from which, we got a great view of Argos.
